Gavino Strebel

Founder, MSc Geography & Nature Conservation

Gavino grew up in Switzerland. As a geographer, he has a strong passion for the outdoors and travelling. Gavino has worked as a nature conservationist in Switzerland and has an excellent knowledge about areas of outstanding natural beauty and wildlife in his country. He has worked internationally in an eco-tourism project in Indonesia and in community-based tourism projects in Vietnam. He believes that more international tourists should enjoy the exceptional attractions that are hidden off the beaten tourist track. This formed his inspiration to found Suisse Plus which offers clients the opportunity to discover an authentic side of Europe and Switzerland that they have never seen before. Gavino has an excellent knowledge of educational institutions in Europe and has graduated from prestigious universities such as University College London, King's College London and University of Zurich.

Susan Cheng

Representative in Hong Kong

Susan has over 10 years of solid experience in organising world-class events for ultra-high-net-worth-individuals and CEOs/CFOs of multinational corporations. She has worked in renowned international banks and firms including HSBC, BNP Paribas, BSI Swiss Private Bank (now renamed as EFG Bank) and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Prior to her experience on events management, Susan was an English tutor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, specialising in English literary studies. Combining her passion in English and her expertise on events, she is in the best position to bring out the best of our programmes to the students in Hong Kong.

Susan obtained a Master of Philosophy in English Literature at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at the University of Hong Kong. She was awarded a Graduate Diploma in English and Hong Kong Law as well.


Karoline Hernandez

Representative in Germany (Ramstein)

Karoline grew up in Germany. She mainly deals with tour requests from clients in the EU.

Christie Yip

Marketing officer

Christie Yip has worked in consulting and customer service for many years. She also worked for various travel companies in Hong Kong and successfully planned trips for customers. Christie graduated in Tourism Management in Hong Kong with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from Edinburgh Napier University.

Carmen Lo

Marketing Asia & Middle East, Luxury goods expert with specialisation in watches, BSc Hospitality & Tourism Management

Carmen Lo studied Hospitality & Tourism Management in Switzerland and worked in the luxury and travel industry in both Switzerland and Hong Kong. She is based in Hong Kong and responsible for our key market in Asia and the Middle East. Her education in hospitality together with her passion for exquisite holidays as well as timeless luxury fashion and accessories make her the perfect consultant when it comes to high-end travel experiences.


Linh Diệu Trân

Tour collaborator in Asia and Europe, BSc International Economics

Linh is based in Vietnam and South East Asia. She has worked in tourism and hospitality in both Asia and Europe. Linh has worked in the UK for Destination Asia (Travel Agent) and owns a teahouse in Hanoi where travellers can meet and exchange travel tips. Her passion for travelling and experience on both continents will guarantee you an enriching journey full of new discoveries. Fluent in English and Vietnamese, she is our tour guide for customers from Vietnam and South East Asia.
